Norah Jones
Jazz-pop singer/songwriter/pianist Norah Jones captivated the world with her sweet, smoky purr and breakout 2002 debut, Come Away with Me, released on the venerable jazz label Blue Note Records. Its hit title track and the single “Don’t Know Why” signaled a paradigm shift away from the synth-pop trend of the era, and the album itself earned eight Grammys. Since then, Jones has released four more critically acclaimed solo albums – Feels Like Home (2004), Not Too Late (2007), The Fall (2009), and Little Broken Hearts (2012) – as well as two albums with her country band, the Little Willies. Listening to her rich, sultry tone and elegant arrangements on vinyl is truly something special.
