Count Basie
Count Basie, a jazz pianist, bandleader, composer and organist, is thought to be one of the most important jazz bandleaders of his time. Count Basie led the Count Basie Orchestra for almost 50 years and greatly influenced many notable musicians in his time. His song “One O’clock Jump” and “April in Paris” are jazz standards and sound fabulous on vinyl.
