Bud Powell
Bud Powell, considered to be one of the most influential jazz pianists in the history of music, helped develop bebop and brought it to a huge audience. His albums such as “The Amazing Bud Powell, Volume One, Two and Three” still are jazz classics today. It was his ability to play accurately at very fast tempos and his inspired bebop soloing that made him so popular and so significant in jazz history. His upbeat songs are instantly recognizable when you hear them on vinyl.
