Josh Ritter
Idaho native Josh Ritter is “the cream of the young singer-songwriter crop” according to the New York Times. Inspired by the best – specifically Bob Dylan and Johnny Cash’s “Girl from the North Country” – Ritter has earned his place on Paste Magazine’s list of 100 Greatest Living Songwriters. His folky vignettes have won over everyone from novelist Stephen King, who named Ritter’s The Animal Years the best album of 2006, to the most discerning music critics. First garnering attention with 2002’s Golden Age of Radio, Ritter has proved you can expect good things from him with each subsequent release and great things with each vinyl reissue.
