Joni Mitchell
Joni Mitchell, an icon of folk music, is actually a Canadian singer that started her singing career in small nightclubs in the mid-60’s. When folk music became big, Joni Mitchell was one of the first on the scene and achieved huge fame that still lasts to today. With music that is respected by both critics and fellow musicians, she is still considered to be one of the most influential female recording artists of the 20th century. Though she took some time off to study artistry she recently released “Shrine” her first album of new songs in nine years. Hearing this on vinyl is like listening to Joni in the prime of her life.
