Gram Parsons
As a pioneer of country rock, Gram Parsons lived only to the age of 26 but made quite a name for himself during that short period of time. This songwriter, guitarist and pianist even had a hand in the “alt-country” movement that began in 1990 which was 17 years after he died. His final album “Grievous Angel” has attained classic status and it is really poignant to hear on vinyl. Showing his emotional state at the time, Gram Parsons was a great country singer of his time.
